Michael Neuman is a partner concentrating his practice in Real Estate, Corporate and other transactional matters.
Michael represents individuals and businesses in their various transactional needs. He focuses on drafting and reviewing commercial and residential leases, asset-based lending and real estate financing, negotiating and documenting real estate purchases, and the sale and development of all types of real estate.
He also represents businesses in entity formation, corporate governance and general corporate matters, asset protection, negotiating and documenting the purchase and sale of businesses, providing general counsel for corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
Prior to founding Neuman & Katz, Michael interned at the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section as well as the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel. Michael is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he received both his J.D. and his LL.M. in Taxation. In law school, Michael served as a student attorney in the Tax Clinic, where he advised and represented clients with tax controversies before the State of Maryland and the Internal Revenue Service. Additionally, Michael served as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Peter Krauser of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
